Customer:

1.3. “Customer Data” means any data or information that: (a) Customer (including its Users) submits to the Services, including from Third-Party Platforms; and (b) is Processed by Junior to provide the Services to Customer. Fine-Tuning Data is Customer Data.

Usage:

1.27. “Usage Data” means information generated from the use of the Services, which data does not identify Users, any other natural human persons, or Customer, such as metadata generated from usage of the platform, prompt data such as questions input to the Platform or search terms, specific feedback related to the quality and accuracy of specific outputs, technical logs, data, and learnings about Customer’s use of the Services, but excluding any identifiable Customer Data.

data generated by Customer through use of the platform (internal source).

Some of this data can be used for fine-tuning models (specifically for Customer use - your usage data would not be used for fine-tuned models generated for other customers).

Some of this data can be used to improve the general software UX / UI - this would be used to improve the product generally (and is a very standard SaaS clause).

An example of the latter would be, if we notice that customers are not using a particular feature or if they are struggling to use a particular feature (and using workarounds) - we would use Usage data to come to those conclusions. Otherwise the user experience is a black box
